Once again, eighty medical and dental students from Queen’s University have come together, battling their personal lack of rhythm and co-ordination, to give you the annual SWOT Fashion Show, in association with The Queen’s Annual Fund.
“The Queen’s Annual Fund raises money from graduates to fund projects that enhance the student experience. Queen’s graduates give generously and the Fund is delighted to support the fashion show and the work of the SWOT students.”
Hosted by BBC Radio 1's Mark Hamilton of The Sunday Surgery and the beautiful Emma-Louise Johnston, television & media personality, and featuring a host of local designers and high street shops from in and around Belfast, as well as some surprise guests, the SWOT Fashion Show 2009 promises to be a night of many laughs, gaffes, and urinary cathe’s!!
Each year, SWOT (Students Working Overseas Trust) raise in excess of £40,000 with £20,000 of that from the Fashion Show alone. This money goes directly to hospitals in the Third World, enabling them to provide care for thousands of victims of poverty, famine and disease.
The SWOT Fashion Show 2009 will take place in the magnificent Whitla Hall on Monday 9th March at 7.30pm.

SWOTs latest night out is 2nd December at Scratch nightclub!Together with Amnesty International we are holding an event to raise money towards promoting AIDS awareness! As a result the night has a red theme so try and wear something red!!! It is £3 on the door, open at 9pm and only £2 for all drinks so be there for a great (and cheap) night out!!! |

Ok guys and girls its the start of a new academic year and that means a new committee and new events! Our first fundraising activities are the BP clinics which you will have received an email about, if not dates and contact details are inside!
